  Ikos Porto is truly beautiful, attentive, clean, fun, and family friendly. If you can afford the Deluxe accommodations then it worth it. Several restaurants to accommodate different taste. My husband has gluten ans diary allergies and they.mase sure every restaurant nee this including room service. While I didnt travel with my children, yes you will hear kids almost everywhere whether they are happy or upset. The have tons of kids activities to allow some private time for adults. If you are looking for the quiet of no kid crying then I dont recommend. First week of October is best to avoid the full capacity of the hotel. This area allows you to get to a good part of the island from there if you plan to drive to Formentor, Alcudia or Palma and they have cars for to use for the day and is inclusive if you decide to go that route. The surrounding town is quaint and also lively. Highly recommend

  We visited Ikos Porto Petro in October 2025 with a group of friends (all couples) and had the most amazing time. The food was absolutely spectacular, the accommodation was fabulous, and the range of cocktails was outstanding. We took out the kayaks on the beautiful clear ocean, played padel matches, yoga and pilates on the beach, spin classes in the gym... there's lots of of activities available to build up the appetite and justification for lazy afternoons by the pool indulging in all the food and drink! The service really made the experience though — the staff were incredible, especially Kyrkos, who could not have been more helpful and genuinely made our stay even more special. We can’t recommend this resort highly enough and have already booked our next holiday there, this will be our third annual visit to Ikos Porto Petro. I think that says it all!

  The resort is beautifully located in a secluded bay, surrounded by lovely scenery. However, there is nothing of interest within walking distance, and I really missed having a seaside promenade for evening walks. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive — drinks were constantly being offered both at the bar and by the pool, which was a nice touch. Because the property is so large, guests are driven around in carts to their rooms or to the restaurants. Unfortunately, these carts all use the same main path through the resort, which I found quite disturbing and even a bit dangerous. Our Deluxe Room did not live up to the standard we experienced at Ikos Andalusia. The bathroom was tiny, with barely any space for personal items, and the view was nothing special. The bed, however, was very comfortable. The food was excellent, but the dining experience felt rushed. Starters arrived within ten minutes of ordering, followed quickly by the main course and dessert. The entire meal was over in about 45 minutes, and the staff seemed under constant stress. That’s not my idea of a relaxing dinner while on vacation. One major issue at the resort is how poorly it handles rainy weather — and it rained every day during our stay. The cushions at the bar and the pool loungers were never taken inside, so they were constantly wet. When you sat down, water literally ran off them. The most disappointing part, however, was that the hotel does not provide courtesy rooms. Check-out is at 11 a.m., and if you have a late flight, you’re expected to change in the lobby restroom. That’s simply unacceptable for a hotel in this category. Overall, while the staff were lovely and the food was great, the lack of comfort, organization, and attention to detail really spoiled the experience. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.
