  Excellent café in Pollença old town. Six of us went for breakfast and were able to get a table, even though it was busy during market hours. The coffee was excellent — we tried café con leche, cortado, and cappuccino, all perfectly made. The food was equally delicious, and I tried my first ensaimada here — light, flaky, and perfectly sweet. For something more substantial, they offer a great selection of sandwiches. The standout for us was the ham and cheese topped with an egg — a delicious Spanish take on a croque madame.

  As is well known, it’s the little moments that make life special. And although these moments are often hard to grasp, we experienced one at the Can Nas Cafeteria. Perhaps it was influenced by the incredible sights we enjoyed early in the morning at sunrise on Es Colomer, or by the dreamy old town of Pollença, still sleepy when we visited. Whatever the reason, the owner is incredibly kind and attentive, the café is stylishly decorated, and the background music evokes a hint of Paris in the air. All of this surely helped to bring the wonderful atmosphere of the surroundings into the café. We tried various dishes, all first-class, but the croissants were truly “out of this world”! Anyone looking to pause time for a moment, enjoy excellent food, and soak in a fantastic atmosphere should definitely stop by. P.S. I found the old ovens from the closed bakery to be very fitting.
