Wow what a trip to Mallorca. Coming from Australia, we hired our bikes from Maria at Rad Velo. The whole experience was fantastic and would recommend 100%. The bike was excellent, the customer service even better and the rides were some of the best in the world.

- Helmet requirements for cyclists in MallorcaOn interurban roads a helmet is compulsory. Three narrow exemptions — long climbs, extreme heat, accredited medical reasons — still apply until 30 September 2026 and disappear on 1 October 2026. In town, only riders under 16.
- Bike lights and reflective gear required at nightWhite front light and red rear light from sunset to sunrise, in tunnels and in low visibility. On interurban roads a reflective garment visible at 150 m is required too.
- E-bikes: 25 km/h, 250 W, pedal-assist onlyEPACs up to 25 km/h and 250 W of continuous motor power count as bicycles. Faster or throttle-controlled e-bikes need registration, insurance, a helmet and a driving licence.
