- Bike-specific business
This page lists every bike repair shop and workshop we hold a record for on Mallorca, with its address, a phone number and the opening hours the business publishes where the record carries them, plus its Google rating and photos. The count of mapped workshops and the date the data was last pulled sit directly under this answer. Filter by town to see what is near your base.

Workshops sit where the riders are, so the quickest way through this list is to start from the town you are staying in rather than from the island. Palma and its metro area hold more mapped workshops than anywhere else here: city-centre shops, the Portixol and Playa de Palma seafront strip, and the industrial estates off the ring road where the larger service departments tend to sit. If you fly in with a bike box and something is bent when you open it, that is the densest place to start — bike repair in Palma.
North of there, the Port de Pollença–Alcúdia corridor is the island’s main road-cycling base and carries the second concentration. Pollença and Alcúdia between them absorb most of the northern training-camp traffic, with Muro and Inca inland behind them. In the Tramuntana, Sóller is the only valley town with workshops on this map, which matters more than the number suggests: it sits between the Coll de Sóller and Puig Major and is the obvious bail-out on a Sa Calobra day.
East and south, Manacor is the largest inland service town on that side of the island, with Felanitx, Santanyí, Capdepera and Llucmajor covering the coastal loops around it. Those are ordinary local bike shops serving residents rather than camps — often an advantage in February, and a limitation when you need a specific race-level part. The towns index shows what else is mapped in the same place.
Be clear about what this data is. A listing is a location record: name, address, phone, website, Google rating and review text, photos, and the opening hours the business publishes. There is no capability field anywhere in it. We do not record whether a shop works on road bikes, whether it owns a disc-brake bleed kit, whether it will touch electronic shifting, whether it can seat a tubeless tyre, whether it offers mobile roadside repair, or whether the workshop is attached to a rental fleet. So this page does not tell you any of that, and we will not infer it from review text and present the guess as a filter.
That leaves the phone call as the real filter, which is no bad thing — it takes a minute and answers more than a checkbox could. Ask it plainly: do you work on road bikes, have you got a bleed kit for my brakes, do you service Di2 or eTap or EPS, can you seat a tubeless tyre in my size, and do you come out to a rider who is stopped or do I have to get the bike to you.
Sort the problem before you start calling, because the two need different behaviour. An urgent job is the one stopping you riding now: a torn casing, a snapped derailleur hanger, a broken spoke, a brake that will not hold on a Tramuntana descent, a shift cable gone at the top of a col. For those, phone rather than ride round hopefully. Describe the fault in one sentence, ask whether they can look at it today, and work down the nearest few numbers. Being on this map does not mean a shop has capacity, and it does not mean the door is open — check the hours on the listing first, because a 20 km transfer to a closed shutter is a bad afternoon.
A book-ahead job is everything you could have done at home and everything that needs a part ordering: a full service, a bottom bracket, chain and cassette, a wheel rebuild, a bearing press job, anything under warranty. Ring at the start of your trip rather than on the day you want it, and expect to leave the bike. We publish no turnaround times anywhere on this site — they depend on the week, the shop and what is on the shelf, and the shop is the only source for that.
A workshop can usually tell you in one message whether the ride over is worth it, as long as you give it something to work with. Send this, ideally by WhatsApp with a photo:
If the answer is that your bike is off the road for the rest of a short trip, renting for the remaining days is sometimes the cheaper fix: bike rental is mapped separately, and the bike hire page sends one request to several shops at once.
Check the listing rather than a rule of thumb. Where a business publishes hours we show them, including any midday break and the days it marks as closed, and the open-or-closed status on the card is worked out from those hours. Where a record carries no hours we show none and invent none. Sunday closing and an early-afternoon break are both common in Spanish retail, so phone before you set off, especially away from the resort towns.
The ones specific to your bike and useless to anybody else: a rear derailleur hanger for your exact frame, pads to match your calipers, a spare tubeless valve, a quick link, a shift cable, or a spare battery for a wireless groupset. Consumables in common sizes are ordinary stock in most shops. A hanger for a three-year-old frame is not, and it is the part most likely to end a trip early.
Many can, but this page cannot tell you which, because there is no capability field in the data and we will not read one out of review text. Treat it as a question rather than a filter: phone and ask whether they service your specific groupset and brake system before you ride over. A shop whose trade is mostly town and hybrid bikes may genuinely not own the tools for a wireless drivetrain.
Sometimes, but never by assumption, and we do not publish turnaround times because we have no source for them. Whether it happens depends on the mechanic’s diary, the part being on the shelf and the tool being in the drawer. Ring the nearest workshops, describe the fault, ask directly whether today is possible, and keep a second option in mind.
The locations start from OpenStreetMap and are enriched with Google Places data: rating, review text, photos and the hours the business publishes. The date under the answer at the top of this page is when we last pulled that data, not the day somebody stood in the doorway. Shops close, move and change hands, so call before a long transfer and read the rating as other riders’ history rather than a promise about today.
