Costa d'en Brossa, 5, Centre, 07001 Palma, Illes Balears, Spain
- Bike-specific business
This page maps every pharmacy in our Mallorca dataset with its address, town, phone number where one is published, and the opening hours we hold for it. Locations come from OpenStreetMap, ratings and hours from Google Places, and the date under this answer is when we last reviewed the page. Whether a pharmacy is on duty is checked separately, at COFIB.

These are two different questions, and mixing them up is what leaves a rider standing outside a shuttered door with a bleeding knee. Open now is about one shop’s own timetable: the hours recorded for that pharmacy, compared against the current local time in Mallorca (Europe/Madrid). That is all the open-now filter on this page does. Where we hold no hours for a pharmacy, the listing says so instead of guessing.
On duty is a rota. The Spanish term is farmacia de guardia and the Catalan farmàcia de guàrdia, and those are the words that get you the right page on official Balearic sites. Pharmacies take turns covering the hours when the rest are shut, and which one covers a given municipality on a given day is set by the pharmacists’ association, not by us. At night, on a Sunday or over a public holiday, the rota is the answer and this map is not. We link it rather than copy it: COFIB reserves its content, so there is no accurate mirror of it anywhere, including here.
Coverage follows where people live, not where the good roads go. Palma has by far the densest cluster, which makes it the easiest place on the island to solve a problem before or after a ride — start at pharmacies in Palma. In the north, Alcúdia covers the bay that doubles as the island’s busiest cycling base. Inland, the Es Raiguer and Es Pla market towns you already use as regroup points — Inca, Sa Pobla, Santa Maria del Camí — each carry a few. Manacor, Artà and Santanyí do the same job on the Llevant loops, Llucmajor on the southern plain, and Andratx in the south-west corner.
The Tramuntana is the gap worth planning around. Sóller has pharmacies down in the valley, but along the Ma-10 there are villages where our dataset holds none at all — and an empty result means we have nothing mapped, not that nothing exists. Buy what you need in the valley town before the climb rather than after it, and use the town filter to see what is actually listed on your route. Mallorca’s cycling towns shows what else is mapped where you are riding.
Treat a pharmacy as a supply stop, not a clinic. Head for the centre of the town: on this island they sit around the plaça, on the main through-road or along the port promenade, so the address on a listing plus the map beats circling the outskirts. Take a card, lock the bike where you can watch it, and expect a tiled floor and cleats to disagree.
We do not describe what any pharmacy stocks, sells or advises, and nothing here is medical advice — that conversation belongs with the pharmacist. What matters on the bike is the line between an inconvenience and an emergency, and a pharmacy is only for the first. For a crash, a head injury, chest pain or heavy bleeding the number is 112; the details worth having ready before you dial are on our emergency contacts page. Mid-ride you probably want water refill points or public toilets instead.
For anything outside a pharmacy’s own hours, go to COFIB, the official Balearic pharmacists’ association, and use its own tools:
The site is published in Spanish and Catalan, and there is no data feed behind it. So this is a page to open on your phone at the moment you need it, with the Spanish or Catalan term in hand.
Filter the map by the town you are in, or open the town hub for your base — the listings carry the address, the phone number where one is published and the hours we hold. Distance from your position needs your device’s location, so use the map view rather than a fixed ranking.
Only COFIB can answer that. Check the duty rota and filter by Mallorca and your municipality. We deliberately do not reproduce or cache the rota — COFIB reserves its content, and a copied rota that is one day stale is worse than no rota at all.
Two steps. Look at the hours on the individual listing for the pharmacy you have in mind, then confirm against COFIB’s open-pharmacies view or the duty rota, which is what actually governs cover once normal hours end. Hours change and holidays move, so check at the time rather than the night before.
When it is not a supply problem. A crash with loss of consciousness, a suspected fracture, heavy bleeding, chest pain or heat collapse is 112, not a pharmacy counter. Have the road number, the nearest kilometre marker and your direction of travel ready — see emergency contacts.
Locations come from OpenStreetMap and ratings, photos and hours from Google Places, refreshed when the dataset is rebuilt; the date shown under the answer above is our last review of this page. Individual pharmacies change their hours without telling either source, so treat the hours as a strong hint and the phone number as the confirmation.
