If you are staying on Platja de Palma, a shop on the same strip is often within walking distance. City-centre hotels have more choice but more traffic on the way out. Some providers deliver to hotels; treat that as unconfirmed until they give you the covered area, window and price in writing.
Rides from Palma
The classic first climb from the city is the Coll de Sóller, about 7.5 km at around 6%, reached via Bunyola. From Bunyola you can also take the steeper Coll d’Honor, and Galilea from Puigpunyent is a short, steep option to the west. East of the city, Puig de Randa is the nearest climb. Is Palma the right rental base?
Palma works well when you are staying in the city or along the nearby southern coast. Before choosing a shop, compare the distance from your accommodation with the time needed to leave the urban area on your planned route. A convenient handover can be more useful than a small headline-price difference, particularly on the first or final day of a trip.
