Curated Mallorca cycling routes

Hand-picked day-loops across the island — each one strings together famous climbs from a single start town, with café and water stops nearby.

Serra de Tramuntana

Tramuntana Queen Stage

approx. 105 km · 2400 m · Level 5/5

From Sóller

The big one: over the Coll de Sóller, along the spine of the Tramuntana past Puig Major, then the plunge into Sa Calobra and the brutal climb back out. A true queen stage — pick a clear, calm day.

Serra de Tramuntana

Pollença → Lluc & sa Batalla

approx. 90 km · 1850 m · Level 4/5

From Pollença

Spin out of Pollença and climb to the Lluc monastery via the Coll de Femenia, returning over the Coll de sa Batalla — steady gradients, pine forest and a café at the top.

Cap de Formentor

Cap de Formentor Lighthouse

approx. 55 km · 900 m · Level 3/5

From Pollença

The island's most photogenic ride: rolling cliffs out to the Formentor lighthouse. Short but exposed — go early to beat the buses and the afternoon wind.

Es Pla

Randa & the Plains

approx. 65 km · 650 m · Level 2/5

From Llucmajor

A gentle introduction to riding Mallorca: quiet lanes across Es Pla to the standalone Puig de Randa — one steady climb with three monasteries and big island views. Ideal for first days and recovery rides.

Llevant

Sant Salvador & the South-East

approx. 75 km · 950 m · Level 3/5

From Felanitx

Quiet Llevant back roads to the hilltop monastery of Sant Salvador above Felanitx — a punchy, panoramic climb with a café-stop town waiting at the bottom.

How to use these routes

Each route is a classic Mallorca day-loop built around climbs you can read up on individually. The figures are honest estimates: pick a route by region, climbs and rough difficulty, then open each climb page for gradient profiles, parking and direction notes.

The downloadable GPX is the concatenation of each climb's own track as separate segments — handy for previewing the hard parts on your head unit, but not a single continuous routed line. Plot the connecting roads in your own route planner before you ride.
