This relaxed and friendly but highly professional restaurant with its spacious outdoor tree-shaded dining in one of the intimate plazas in Petra was a real surprise. Their claim to fair pricing for high quality food and wine is exactly correct. The menu was confidently different from mainstream, with great variety for differing tastes and the specials were described by Joan (male) with such suspense and delicacy as to be irresistible. The house wines are made locally and of high quality but if you like an expensive wine there’s a choice too. A wonderfully relaxed evening crowned off with a few operatic performances from the very same Joan, vodka to pour on your sorbet, a flambéed tiramisu or a glass of schnapps. A gem.

An amazing experience! The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming that it truly felt like being at home. The food was outstanding — every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The staff were extremely kind and attentive, making us feel comfortable throughout the whole evening. A place we will definitely return to and highly recommend!

I've never left a review for a restaurant before. The food at Can Salon was so delicious that I simply must give a 5-star review. We chose this place in Petra because of the beautiful outdoor seating with lots of plants, trees and the beautiful lighting. The service from the first moment was friendly, professional and prompt. We have had quite some good food on Mallorca, but this was just heavenly. Every bite was exceptional and I felt almost grateful for the depth and freshness of whatever I ate. I had the sea bass with potatoes and vegetables and was amazed by how the simple ingredients came together so melodiously. The olives and salsa-like dip were heavenly; potatoes were perfectly fluffy and the fish had the most perfect crispy skin, well cooked, and simply danced in my mouth with the lemon. Just perfection.
