Pharmacies in Artà

Artà is the service town for the north-east corner, and this page maps each pharmacy we hold with its address, phone number where one is published and the opening hours recorded for it. Locations come from OpenStreetMap, ratings and hours from Google Places, and the date below is our last review of the page. Duty cover is checked separately, at COFIB.

Open now vs on duty

Open now is one shop’s own timetable: the hours in its listing, checked against the current local time in Mallorca (Europe/Madrid). Where we hold no hours the listing says so instead of guessing, and hours change without OpenStreetMap or Google being told.

On duty is the rota — farmacia de guardia, farmàcia de guàrdia in Catalan. Which pharmacy covers the municipality on a given day is set and published by COFIB, the Balearic pharmacists’ association, and that is what governs cover at night, on a Sunday and over a holiday. COFIB reserves its content, so we link the rota rather than copy it.

Where they are in Artà

Artà is built up a hill under the walls of Sant Salvador, and the listings sit down in the working part of the town rather than at the top. That is good news on a bike: you do not have to climb through the old streets to run an errand, and the through-road gives you somewhere to stop.

It is also the last town on several long, empty legs. North out of town the road towards the Ermita de Betlem and the Llevant hills has nothing; east through Capdepera the coast opens up; west the Ma-15 runs to Manacor, with the greenway along the old railway line as the quieter alternative; and north-west along the bay it is a long flat run to Can Picafort. If you are riding any of those, deal with it in Artà. See everything mapped in Artà for cyclists, or the island-wide picture at pharmacies in Mallorca.

For cyclists

A pharmacy is a supply stop, not a clinic. We do not describe what any of these hold, sell or advise, and nothing here is medical advice — that belongs at the counter. What matters on the bike is the line between an inconvenience and an emergency: a crash with loss of consciousness, a suspected fracture, heavy bleeding, chest pain or heat collapse is 112, and the details worth having ready are on our emergency contacts page. For the ordinary mid-ride needs, see water refill points in Artà and public toilets in Artà.

Common questions

Where is the nearest pharmacy in Artà?

Use the map view and let the browser supply your position. With only a handful in the municipality, the addresses matter more than a ranking — each listing carries the address, the phone number where one is published and the hours we hold.

Which pharmacy is on duty in Artà?

Check COFIB’s duty rota filtered to the municipality. We do not reproduce or cache it: COFIB reserves its content, and in a town this size a stale rota could send you the wrong way down the coast.

Is anything open on a Sunday?

Read the hours on the individual listing, then confirm with COFIB’s open-pharmacies view or the duty rota, which governs cover once ordinary hours end. We make no claim about Sunday or holiday patterns here — check them at the time.

How current is this data?

Locations come from OpenStreetMap, ratings and hours from Google Places, refreshed when the dataset is rebuilt; the date under the answer above is our last review. Treat the hours as a strong hint and the phone number as the confirmation.
