Photo spots on Coll de Sóller

The Coll de Sóller is built for photographs. The old pass has 26 numbered switchbacks on each side, each marked with a stone number, so a rider on any hairpin gives you a frame with a built-in caption. Because the tunnel took the traffic in 1997 the road is quiet and you can safely shoot from the outer edge of a bend, riders stacked above and below on the stepped slope. Our map also lists the Mirador del Coll de Sóller about 2.8 km from the route, a natural summit and valley view. Mornings favour the south-facing slope.
