Photo spots on Cap de Formentor

The best photograph on Cap de Formentor is the Mirador des Colomer, the stop the directions single out between Coll de sa Creueta and the lighthouse. It gives a sea cliff view and plenty of room off the road. Further on, the lighthouse at the northern tip is the obvious finish shot, 18.5 km from Port de Pollença. The rolling road shares the coast, so frames of riders against open sea work almost anywhere. Between mid-May and mid-October private cars are restricted from 10:00 to 22:00, so the road is clearest of traffic then.
