Photo spots on Puig Major (Coll de sa Bataia → Tunnel)

Puig Major photographs best as a long, steady line rather than a single viewpoint. The 14 km climb from the Sóller side rises 840 m at a near-constant 6%, so the road draws a clean diagonal across open mountainside, which is why it is tagged panoramic and exposed. Look back down the valley from the upper stretches for the shot of the road you have just climbed, and finish at the Sóller-side mouth of the Túnel del Puig Major, the natural summit photo. Do not stop inside or at the tunnel entrance itself: shoot from clear verge a little before it.
