Published figures put the fine at €500 between 0.25 and 0.50 mg/l and €1,000 above 0.50 mg/l, with no licence points because cycling needs no licence. Those amounts come from the Ley de Tráfico rather than the road-traffic regulation and are worth checking against the current official text. Pace your post-ride beer — the Mallorcan habit of stopping for a caña does not exempt the ride home.
