Open now is one shop’s own timetable: the hours in its listing, checked against the current local time in Mallorca (Europe/Madrid). Where we hold no hours the listing says so rather than inventing a schedule, and hours change without OpenStreetMap or Google being told.
On duty is the rota — farmacia de guardia, farmàcia de guàrdia in Catalan. Which pharmacy covers the municipality on a given day is set and published by COFIB, the Balearic pharmacists’ association, and that is what governs cover at night, on a Sunday and over a holiday. COFIB reserves its content, so we link the rota rather than copy it.
Where they are in Inca
Inca is a proper working town rather than a resort, which for a rider means two useful things: there are more pharmacies here than in any village you will pass all day, and they are spread through the centre and the residential streets rather than concentrated on one tourist strip. Check the address on each listing and pick the one that is on your side of town — the centre is compact but the ring roads are not.
Position is what makes Inca worth the stop. It sits in the middle of the Raiguer, on the main corridor between Palma and the bay of Alcúdia, and it is the last town of any size before the road tips up through Selva and Caimari to the Coll de sa Batalla and Lluc. West of here the Orient valley and Alaró are quiet and thinly served. If your day includes any of that, do it in Inca.
