At the top of Puig de Sant Salvador, near the Sanctuary of Sant Salvador in Felanitx, is the Cristo Rei (Christ the King) statue. It was built between 1928 and 1934 and stands on a tall pedestal, making it visible from far away. I was really stunned by the size of the statue and the amazing views from the platforms around it. You can see Felanitx below, the hills all around, and even the sea on a clear day. The statue shows Jesus with his hand raised in blessing, and it was built as a symbol of faith and hope for the people of Mallorca. The whole area is peaceful and beautiful, and standing there gives you a real sense of calm and history. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy the view, take photos, or just spend a quiet moment at this special place.

Worth the long climb up to this amazing monument just to see the views, ideally done on a bike.
