  Station manager - wrong attitude: Rented their most expensive bike for a week. Last day also rented an e-bike for my spouse. First day found out all measurements were wrong and had given them in advance. After the ride - which felt bad - it turned out they had put my saddle 2.5 cm wrong. After that all good. Thomas knows a lot about bikes and helped me on a faulty power meter reading. All around excellent guy with the right attitude! On the last day, my son wanted to take a quick ride on the e-bike. Given it’s a big road here I wanted to join him just to be safe. Asked if I could use my bike for one more hour, but Amir the station manager said that since I had technically returned my bike already I would need to rent a new bike. That didn’t feel right at all. While technically correct, taking into account it’s not peak season, their gafu on day 1 and the fact there were plenty of bikes around in the shop, this was totally the wrong decision commercially, or just in terms of empathy considering a child who was really excited until they played a technical detail. You may have saved an extra ‘wash’ but wasted an opportunity if you ask me…

  Service, bike and overall handling is good but how can it be that Huerzeler is not support Wahoo bike computers? It's not like I am the only one that is using Wahoo. They offered to mount it but if you don't have the mount with you then there is nothing they can do. I would expect that such a big racebike rental as Huerzeler is providing the mounting for the two most used bike computer brands.
