Position matters more here than almost anywhere else on the island, because this is the far north-east corner and the next real choice of workshops is a long way off. Manacor is roughly forty kilometres back down the MA-15, and the northern bay is over the hill by Artà and the Coll des Vidrier, which is not a road to ride on a doubtful brake. If you are staying in Cala Rajada, Cala Agulla or Cala Mesquida, the resort-side addresses are your nearest; if the problem starts on the coast road towards Canyamel or on the way back from Artà, the town and the polígon are what you reach first.
