Not sure about some of the other reviews, but my experience at Sports Island was excellent. The manager was very helpful in initially helping me pick a pair of shorts. And when I needed to return them they couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating - even though I had no receipt. Thank you very much, I'll be back as this store stocks high quality and different brands to those you can find in the UK.

I wish all shopping experiences were like this. I visited the shop just to browse and was greeted by a very polite and very helpful young man. When I decided to try something on, he was very knowledgeable and advised me about sizing based on the style / cut of the item I was looking at. I purchased the item very happily, he had the perfect shop presence: no pressure, friendly, knowledgeable about the products. Thanks

- Helmet requirements for cyclists in MallorcaOn interurban roads a helmet is compulsory. Three narrow exemptions — long climbs, extreme heat, accredited medical reasons — still apply until 30 September 2026 and disappear on 1 October 2026. In town, only riders under 16.
- Bike lights and reflective gear required at nightWhite front light and red rear light from sunset to sunrise, in tunnels and in low visibility. On interurban roads a reflective garment visible at 150 m is required too.
- E-bikes: 25 km/h, 250 W, pedal-assist onlyEPACs up to 25 km/h and 250 W of continuous motor power count as bicycles. Faster or throttle-controlled e-bikes need registration, insurance, a helmet and a driving licence.
